COMPOSER NOTES

When I got the call to ask me to write some music for Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth I was really excited. I’d worked with the game designers, Will Miller and David McDonugh, before on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, so I knew it would be great fun to do. Getting to write this kind of large scale music really is a pure joy, and to have it played by live orchestra is just about as good as it gets! The score picked up a lot of recognition which really was the icing on the cake.
